Veteran Aviator is operated by a small team of combat veterans, all of whom have a strong heart to help our community. A large percentage of veterans struggle significantly after leaving the military. We intend to help veterans find purpose and direction post-military life, using aviation as a therapeutic hobby, which is essential to strong mental health.
Why aviation? When a person leaves the military, that veteran experiences an immediate loss of a few key things: a challenge, adventure, and community. Aviation helps to fulfill those needs while providing a hobby that can promote individual journeys, family engagement, and even a career! We recognize there are plenty of great resources for veterans; however, there is a void for those veterans interested in aviation. We want to provide an opportunity for those veterans.
